fluid poetics studio

launched in june 2023, the fluid poetics studio is a digital visual arts project featuring a rotational series of works created by different artists who make things at home. i began this project inspired by domestic workers, artists who tinker away at the house, friends and other creatives who like to make things at home. the project is partially inspired by my current creative practice which is rooted in deep domesticity, and ritual. i wanted to provide a space for makers to share minimalist projects in a minimalist space in hopes of bridging connections across the great digital void. ultimately, this is an ongoing work in process.

the first installation, “love, scene” was recorded by the singing chef, aiji daste, in 2013 in new orleans. a future installation, “purple vespers” is scheduled to appear in two parts in early winter 2024 and late autumn 2024.
